|Full Description: Trichocereus hybrid 'THELEFLORA' has a 5"+ diameter bloom with inner petals light pink to violet, darker pink mid stripe, inner petals are also shorter, wide and have a wavy edge, light colored almost white on petal edges. Outer petals are darker more violet tones, long and narrow with slightly re curving back petals. Stamen, anthers and stigma are creamed colored, greenish in throat.
A beautiful pink bloom but Tricho. cv 'Theleflora's stem growth is also attractive and unusual compared to most Trichocereus hybrids with ribbing similar to one of the parent crosses Trichocereus thelegonus -which has pronounced protruding bumps along the rib edges at aerioles, very short spines, almost spineless on this hybrid variety compared to Trichocereus thelegonus the species which has similar protruding bumps along the rib edges, but also longer spines and a white colored bloom. A cross of Trichocereus thelegonus X Echinopsis eyriesii var. grandiflora. Hybridized by Robert Gräser.
