Full Description: Trichocereus hybrid 'Hunsrück Bernstein' Has a 3-1/2 to 4-1/2" diameter bloom in golden-amber color tones. Inner petals are lighter golden-yellow with darker petal tips. Next 2 rows same but slightly darker golden-yellow with amber tones. Back petals are amber to bronze-copper colored. Cream colored anthers and stigma. A cross of 'Gräsers Erfolg' x Helianthoc. huascha gelb. Hybridized by Eckard Meier.
Stem growth is dark green averaging 3-1/2" to 4"+ diameter at base with 3/4" average length golden-brownish colored spines.
Notes : Reaches blooming maturity at 1'+ ft. in height. Strong grower!
More Info. : This Trichocereus cultiver was named by Mr. Klaus Kornely. Serveral Epiphyllum, hylocereus and related jungle cacti and Trichocereus have been hybridized by Mr. Eckard Meier, many have the first name Hunsrück a mountain range in Germany where Eckard grew many of his hybrids, you can see Eckards hybridizing page by clicking the link below.
