WOW!!

I really like the dark red flowering plant in the background of the first picture.

Does anyone have any idea how old the plants have to be to get to that size?

Hello Matt,
Usually I used this brand SuperSoil Cactus Mix. you can find it at your local homedepot :P then I mix 1/4 of perlite to the soil, it make well drainage and circulate airflow to the roots system help the adenium plant grow rapidly, healthy plant. I think the adenium plant don't like sitting in wet soil or impacted soil it will cause the plant to slow grow even root rot. California is a dry climate so just water once a week, treat them like epi & cactus, they will be happy. from my experience, it work for me never had rotten rot or any fungus on the plant.. im not adenium expert. please share your experience so i could learn it too. :D

Hi Everyone :waive:

I've got a few Adeniums in my collection and I also use Cactus Soil mixed with a little extra Perlite. We had lots of rain this summer and they lost several leaves but the plants themself look okay. They bloom off and on all Spring, Summer and Fall. When we get freezing temps in the winter (which isn't offen) I bring the pots under shelter in my lanai and sometimes even cover them for extra protection. Left them out one year because i was busy bringing all my epi's inside. They were not too pleased but they eventually came back for me. After looking at all these beautiful photos I'm definitely going to take better care of them.
