SELENICEREUS MACDONALDIAE -Species SELENICEREUS MACDONALDIAE Has a Large bloom simular to S.Grandiflorus but the simularities stop there since the growth of this species is very distinct and unique, buds start as hairy tuffs eventually gaining a long tube last week or 2 before blooming.Selenicereus Macdonaldiae has many sided ribbed growth thats very narrow about 1/2 to 3/4 diameter at base. The stem edges are in an up and down pattern. First and second year growth will cascade nicely from a hanging basket, older and longer stems will begin turning upward and attach themselfs with aerial roots. Origonates from its native habitat of HONDURAS. First documented/discovered by (Hook.) Britt. & Rose in 1853.
