|Full Description: Hildewintera hybrid 'Traisenprinz' Has a 3-1/4" to 4"+ diameter bloom with inner petals 2 rows colored yellow-gold, slight ruffle petal edges, next row longer petals colored yellow with golden tips. Outer petals are long, narrow and are yellow-bronze colored with a tan overlay.
Red to dark orange filaments, anthers cream, stigma pink with cream at end. Hybridized by Dr. Irmfried Buchmann, (Hyb.#BUM 0296). A cross of Hildewintera hybrid 'Noller II' X Echinopsis hybrid 'Gold dollar'.
Growth : Stem growth is stout 2-1/2" to 3-1/2" average diameter, dark green, multi-ribbed, cylindrical form with short spines.
Notes : An excellent mass bloomer once main stems reach 8" to 10"+ tall. Can get multiple blooms on one stem so blooms can be slightly smaller closer to 3-1/2" diameter when multiple blooms on only one stem, but if only a couple blooms on a single stem they tend to be larger in diameter. Great bloomer, strong grower too! Not a heavy pupper/offset producer though unless top cut, so tends to produce few pups naturally on its own each season.
