Full Description: Epiphyllum Hybrid 'SHERMAN E. BEAHM' Has an Extra Large bloom with lilac-carmine red and lighter edges,outer petals are dark carmine. Flat basket growth.Reg.# 5476.
NOTES; Hybridized by Curt Knebel in 1935 (Knebel #227). Origonally this variety was named 'Adolf Hitler' Later the name was changed in the 40s for obvious reasons). Changed to Sherman E. Beahm of Beahm Gardens in California, U.S.A. Good grower, needs maturity to bloom but blooms well once mature with no setbacks. |
