Full Description: Trichocereus hybrid 'RUFUS' (MEX #35) has a 6"+ diameter bloom (16+ cm) with overlapping petals, first row of petals are apricot colored with a wide pink edge, pointed petal tips with a touch of red to dark orange on tips, glowing golden circle by base, next row is same but with a more narrow pink edge and larger orange colored tip, next row predominately orange with only a slight apricot mid rib 1/2 way from base fading to pink-orange, 2nd half is orange. Back petals are dark orange, slightly re curving. Stamens are overcast in orange, creme anthers and stigma. A cross of Tricho. cv 'Liskes Prachtstück' X Tricho. un-named by Thomas Stoefer (#TS3727). Hybridized by Klaus-Peter Mügge. Hybridizers cross number (MEX #35).

Growth : Stoat green colored stem growth averaging 4-1/2" to 5"+ in diameter and tall growth up to 3ft.+.

Notes : Beautiful good sized multi-colored blooms, clean looking growth. Fast grower & an excellent pupper too! Has to grow a bit taller than most for first bloom-18" to 2'ft+ but then blooms profusely. Strong grower.

Offered as : A small offset or pup to all mail order locations. Larger rooted plant(s) are available for mail order within the U.S. only, or for pick up. See link below for info. about our walk in nursery.
