|Full Description: Hildewintera hybrid 'Rudolf Herzog' has 3" diameter blooms with white/cream colored inner petals some pink overlay, slight light orange colors on petal edges, short petals, wide, funnel form. Outer petals are salmon orange, light apricot mid rib, some darker burnt orange colored petals & edges, long and narrow outer petals. Reddish-magenta stamens, cream to light chartreuse stigma. Anthers are purplish when first open then fade to a white/cream color.
Growth : Stem growth averages 2"+ diameter, multi-ribbed, cylindrical. Spines are darker brown on new growth near apex to light golden-brown colored on older growth.
Notes : This variety can have varying coloration depending on several factors; how long the blooms have been open, can be lighter colored if grown in bright light, fertilizer, care etc. Above and below shows blooms on the same plant/stem taken when first open and later in the day, with a camera flash and without.
