Full Description: Trichocereus hybrid 'RIVERSIDE' Has a 6" to 7" multi-petaled bloom, inner petals; first row yellow to apricot by base narrowing to petal tips with pink on petal edges widening to end of petals, 2nd row same, 3rd row same but darker yellow-apricot and pink darkens to rose. 4th row almost entirely pink with darker pink-rose, some apricot at base of petals. First 3 rows of petals are cupped. Overlapped petals, Stamens are white to lite yellow, anthers and stigma yellow, throat is green to chartreuse.

Growth : Stem growth is dark green, stoat growth averaging 4"+ diameter with very short spines.

More info. : This variety originated from a nursery in Riverside, California, U.S.A. and was sold un-named. This variety was obtained from the nursery by a friend of Jean Luc Billouet a Frenchman who originally began trading it several years back in cactus forums and named it as 'Riverside'. Although this hybrid originated from Riverside, California there are probably as many if not more Trichocereus collectors growing it in Europe than the U.S.A. The actual parent crosses of this hybrid is not known.
