|Full Description: Trichocereus Hybrid 'Pisac' Has a 5" to 6" diameter rose/pink colored bloom in a rosette form. Growth is tall columnar type growth, averaging 4" to 5"+ diameter near base and 2' to 3' ft.+ tall. A cross of Trichocereus schickendantzii x Helianthocereus grandiflorus, also known as the (SCHIGRA hybrids or crosses), Hybridized by Robert Gräser.
Notes : Depending on care fertilizer, light etc. this hybrid can have darker rose coloration in throat or can be one tone pink, occasionally has some light orange overlay on outer row petals, pinkish colored stamen, cream anthers and stigma.
This trichocereus hybrid 'Pisac' was named after a village with the same name of Písac located in Peru or P'isaq (Quechua for Nothoprocta, also spelled p'isaqa). Pisac is a Peruvian village in the Sacred Valley. It is situated at the Willkanuta River. The village of Pisac is well known for its market every Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday, an event which attracts heavy tourist traffic from the nearby city of Cusco, Peru.
