|Full Description: Hildewintera/Akersia hybrid 'Otto Schultz' Has a 2-3/4" to 3"+ inch diameter bloom with inner petals almost entirely white colored but with a light pink overlay, lilac-pink mid stripe that widens/fans out near petal tips, progressively more lilac streaking on 2nd and 3rd rows, ruffled petal edges, wide petals, tips are slightly pinched, in a semi-funnel/rosette form. Outer petals are longer than inner petals, dark lilac colored with white streaking. Back petals are darker lilac to purplish. Stamen are pink colored last 2/3rd, cream anthers, light yellow to cream stigma.
Growth is light green, 3"+ average stem diameter, multi-ribbed, cylindrical, short golden colored spines.
A cross of (Hildewintera aureispina x Akersia roseiflora = Mother/seed producer) X Echinopsis. eyriesii var. grandiflora=Father/pollen producer. Hybridized by Otto Schulz.
