Full Description: Dragon Fruit variety 'GIANT VIETNAMESE' has a large 1 Lb. to 2 pound (453.6 g-.9072 kg) white fleshed fruit. Exterior is pinkish with long fins. Whole fruit is oval in shape. Sweet and crisp with a watermellon like texture. Growth is robust with dark green stems, thick 3 sided stem growth. Hylocereus undatus X selection. This variety is self pollinating.
Blooms are nocturnal, white with yellow/gold back petals, over 15" in diameter. Tends to bloom late in the season from Sept. to October, fruits are ready for harvest late November to December depending on your climate at your location.
NOTES; Very simular in growth to 'Vietnamese White' & 'Bien Hoa White'. Fruit exterior color and pulp is also very simular to these 2 varieties, with this variety being more oval in fruit shape or form. Huge fruits with most fruit averaging over 1 pound and many 2 lbs in size as shown pictured.
