Full Description: Succulent Euphorbia hybrid Euphorbia cv 'Zig Zag' is a cross of E. pseudocactus X E. grandicornis it has unusual growth, eventually clumping to 2'X 4' feet over time. Individual stems are dark to light green 3 to 4 sided-often 4 sided, twisted with constricted segments 2" to 4" inches long on average, some stems have lighter green to yellow V markings. Spines are short, stoat 1/4" inch long on average. Gets some small 1/4" or less leaves on mature stem tips in summer but only briefly. Displays well in containers or can be ground planted in good draining soil. A somewhat common landscape and houseplant in Southern California.
Flowers : Are small and appear late winter to summer.
Care : Likes full sun to part shade, rich good draining soil mix. Regular water in warm season, occasional water in winter. Protect from frost.
Caution : All Euphorbias have toxic milky sap, take caution when cutting stems or placing near or around small children.
