|Full Description: Succulent species Euphorbia ammak verigata or-(Veriegated) is a tree-like Euphorbia that can eventually reach up to 20' tall, several branches or arms grow from the main stems. Individual stems average 3" to 4" inches in diameter with white to light green and grey-green blotches and stripping on skin and some light yellow bands, wavy rib edges have serrated spine like or thorny edges. Near the tops of stems 1/2 lime green to darker green and 1/2 white colored lancelet shaped leaves emerge in the warm growing season, beautiful variegation in the leaves of this variety-(see pictures below). Very drought tolerant once established. An attractive and interesting landscape plant. Can be ground planted in frost free locations or grown as a house plant in cold locations.
Native To : Saudi Arabia and Yemen.

More Info. : Euphorbia ammak is a species of plant in the Euphorbiaceae family. Although native to Saudi Arabia and Yemen, it is common in southern Africa where it was introduced long ago by traders, but Euphorbia ammak is now listed as a threatened species in its native habitat.

Like most species in the Euphorbia genus the milky white sap is poisonous and can irritate eyes, so wash hands well after trimming stems or handling them.
Care : Euphorbia ammak likes full sun part of the day to part-shade and semi-rich good draining soil mix. Requiring very little water once established, it is not tolerant of wet conditions, particularly during winter months. In cold locations it can easily be grown in a container as a houseplant or moved indoors during the winter season. Hardy to 32 degrees but only for very brief periods.
