More info; This species variety is very close to Epiphyllum phyllanthus var. 'Hookeri' or commonly called (Strictum) in appearance of both stem growth and bloom. The stems are wider than Strictum though. The bloom is also very similar having a wheel form and primarily white colored but is slightly larger and without a bright purple stigma. Although mostly a white bloom E. Stenopetalum is not pure white like E. Strictum, instead it has more yellowish to tan overlay towards the petal tips, exterior petals. The pistil is also a light maroonish color. Above shows a close up of the stem growth.
