| Full Description: HYLOCEREUS UNDATUS HYBRID- 'DARK STAR'-This variety is self pollinating.Dark Star is a medium to large sized fruit pink fleshed variety that weighs on average 3/4 to 1-1/4 pounds. This variety has long skinny bracts or fins that make it especially attractive. The fruit have a mild grape-like flavor that is most enjoyed when chilled and eaten fresh. This variety is self pollinating, and it will set fruit on its own.
Huge nocturnal blooms over 13" across. Same growing medium as Epis but likes shade at the feet and the top growth likes to reach full sun to bloom well.If your coastal it can handle full sun. Blooms all summer, fruits are developed after blooming and ripen by fall.Strong grower!
