Full Description: Echinopsis hybrid 'CONSOLATION' Has a 4" to 5" fragrant bloom in light yellow with light russet tips, inners petals are often ruffled. Throat-circle light yellow. Outer stamens form a wide circle; filaments yellow. Stigma exserted & light green. Flowers are fragrant. Stem growth is barrel-like, up to 3 ¾ inches (9.5 cm) in diameter; central spines to 1 inch (25 mm) long. The name given by Bob Schick was inspired by the piano piece (Consolation) performed by Felix Mendelssohn. 'CONSOLATION' was Hybridized by Bob Schick of the U.S.A.
