Full Description: Echinopsis hybrid 'Bonanza' has an average bloom diameter of 5" to 6"+ in a golden-bright yellow colored base turning medium to pink-purple on petal tips. The golden colors tend to streak thru second half of petals like rays of light very bright colored. Outer petals are light pink-purple with a darker purple mid stripe. Back petals are purplish pink with a darker purple mid stripe. Throat opens wide and is greenish to chartreuse colored. Pistil is chartreuse colored, stamens are bright yellow, cream to yellowish colored anthers and stigma. Growth is large globular in form, similar to a half submerged soccer ball in the ground, averaging 10" in diameter by 8"+ tall. Excellent mass bloomer. Hybridizers crossing numbers; (BEX #282). A BEX hybrid, hybridized by Ingo Bartels of Germany.

Notes : Fast grower, super mass bloomer giving the grower a great show throughout the warm growing season. This variety tends to regularly bloom in numbers of 4,5 or more but if only a single bloom open the bloom diameter could be even larger 6"+. Blooms of this variety also hold up well in relatively warm temps, several consecutive days before perishing. Growth is large globular form, similar to a soccer ball submerged half way into the ground.
