|Full Description: Lobivia hybrid 'Blaze' has a 3" diameter bloom in a tight rosette form with scarlet red to almost red-salmon if buds develop in warmer climates often you will have lighter coloration. The petal tips are frosted white and some white in a circle near the base of throat, chartreuse back petals. The stem growth is compact typical Pseudolobivia type growth, individual mature stems average 2-1/2" to 3" diameter and seldom more than 4" tall, often surrounded by a ring of pups. A very heavy pupper or offset producer. Hybridized by Harry Johnson-(Paramount hybrid).
Notes : A tough grower not picky about water and unlike some Lobivia crosses does well in very bright summer light too. Petite delicate blooms, profuse bloomer.
This hybrid is also often sold as either a Pseudolobivia or Echinopsis hybrid.
